Conservation districts in Montana are able to reserve water for future beneficial use. Currently, thirty-one conservation districts hold water reservations throughout the Yellowstone, Little Missouri, and Missouri River basins. Each of these districts administers its reservation for use by individuals within the district. Applications for reserved water use in Yellowstone County can be found below.
NOTE: THERE ARE FEES ASSESSED FOR WATER RESERVATIONS AND WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION
